WHY GET DEPOSED™ WAS CREATED:

We understand the importance of a successful, worry-free deposition!

Kimberly Dodson, Esquire has been working in the legal field since 1986. First as a paralegal, later law clerk, then as an attorney. Throughout that time, Kimberly witnessed even the most educated CEOs mentally defeated during their depositions. Let’s face it, no one likes having their every word scrutinized, recorded and used as a potential weapon. So, GET DEPOSED™ was developed to ensure that every deponent who becomes GET DEPOSED certified is intellectually, emotionally, and physically prepared to sit in the hot seat the day of their deposition.

For attorneys, GET DEPOSED™ allows you to free up at least ten billable hours. Is a pass-through litigation cost. Provides a thorough and comprehensive depo preparation. Tests your client’s knowledge of who, when, where, how and why their deposition is being taken. Explains what to say and what not to say. Provides regular email reminders to your client of their requirements to complete the program and obtain their certification prior to the date of their deposition. Provides you real-time status of your client’s progress and an objective analysis of their knowledge of the deposition process and abilities to successfully testify.

For individuals not represented by an attorney, GET DEPOSED™ affords you the ability to learn the purpose, scope and reasoning behind why your deposition is being taken without having to hire an attorney. Provides you a thorough and comprehensive depo preparation. Tests your knowledge of who, when, where, how and why your deposition is being taken. Explains what to say and what not to say. Sends to you email reminders of the date of your deposition to encourage you to timely complete all courses. Provides you an objective analysis of your knowledge of the deposition process and your ability to testify.

GET DEPOSED™ is a multi-level course program with examinations at the end of each course level. Each examination must be passed before moving on to the next course level. This ensures that the individual, client, i.e. future deponent, has learned the information contained within the course before moving forward to the next course. There is a notes section that can be utilized to make contemporaneous notes for recall, clarification and better understanding or for future discussion with an attorney.
